Ryan & Dorcas P.

Ryan and Dorcas coordinate BCMW’s ministry in Southeast Asia, pointing believers there to the sufficiency of Scripture and the biblical call to discipleship. They remain in the early stages of their training work with BCMW, and they hope one day to live in the region long-term as missionaries involved in church planting.

Ryan grew up in a Catholic background and came to know Christ in 2010, after God opened his eyes to the gospel of grace and repentance. Christian medical missions carried him to various countries, but he eventually sensed his focus shift toward the deeper need people carry: the gospel itself. That conviction now shapes his work bringing the gospel and biblical counseling to pastors who lead his church.

Dorcas came to faith during her first year of college, where a local church grew her knowledge of Jesus and her love for his Word. She found her passion for street evangelism and discipleship there, and personal trials later taught her firsthand the sufficiency of Scripture. She began training in biblical counseling during college while preparing for long-term mission work in Southeast Asia, where she hopes to use her language and counseling skills to strengthen the church in her home country.
