Rev. Bryan & Susan Nevin
Bryan Nevin coordinates BCMW’s work in Mexico, a country of 129 million people where biblical counseling remains in its early stages and no certifying organization yet exists. Bryan grew up in a pastor’s home and trusted Christ at age four. He earned his M.Min. from Baptist Bible Seminary and completed ACBC certification in 2017, after his first exposure to biblical counseling at a 2000 Faith Biblical Counseling conference in Lafayette, Indiana.
Bryan and his wife, Susan, have lived in Mexico since 2003, planting a church in a Mexico City suburb built around biblical counseling and a community center. Susan grew up in a Christian home, trusted Christ at four, and now homeschools their children while serving in the church’s women’s and children’s ministries.
In 2018, Bryan read an article by Wayne Vanderwier and reached out to learn how to start counseling certification in Mexico, a conversation that led him to BCMW’s Missionary Training Conference. Bryan and Susan married in 1997 and have six children.
