Olivia Hdija

Olivia Hdija coordinates BCMW’s work in France. Born and raised in the Republic of Ireland, she came to faith at university in England, then spent six years in Illinois working as a physical therapist. In 2000 she was commissioned as a missionary, and in 2003 she married her husband, also a missionary; together they serve in France using media to reach a spiritually resistant people group.

Olivia completed a master’s degree in biblical counseling in 2018 through what was then OIC at Kyiv Theological Seminary. She spent years coordinating BCMW’s training in France and translating materials into French before a 2022 restructuring eliminated her ministry role. Rather than step away from counseling, she and her pastor founded the French Institute of Biblical Counseling that December, and she now serves on BCMW’s team working alongside Mark and Barbara Mann. She and her husband have four children.
