Ernie & Rose Baker

Ernie and Rose Baker have served in ministry for more than forty years, in pastoral roles and as professors in undergraduate and graduate programs. They spent years at Harvest Baptist Church near Virginia Tech and now teach at The Master’s University in Southern California, where Ernie chairs the online degree in Biblical Counseling and leads the graduate program full time. Their work has taken them to six continents to teach the Bible.

Ernie holds a D.Min. in pastoral counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary and serves as a Fellow with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. He has authored several books, including Marry Wisely, Marry Well, and contributed chapters to others.

Ernie and Rose love mentoring and discipleship, and BCMW lets them pursue both the Great Commission and academically rigorous biblical counseling training at once. They have six children and fourteen grandchildren.
