Dr. Greg & Amber Gifford

Dr. Greg Gifford coordinates BCMW’s work in Japan, where his family travels at least once a year for training, filming, and conferences. He chairs the School of Biblical Studies at The Master’s University, serves as a Fellow of the Fortis Institute, and is an Associate Pastor at Faith Community Church.

Greg wanted to use biblical counseling to strengthen the churches of Japan, home to the second-largest unreached people group in the world. That conviction drives his coordination of BCMW’s Japan field, alongside his wife, Amber, and their three sons: Zane, Finn, and Jett.

What Greg loves most about the work is teaching and counseling God’s Word in missional contexts, watching Scripture take root in a culture where the church is still small but growing.
