Diego & Michele dos Santos

Diego dos Santos coordinates BCMW’s work in Brazil from Canela, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, where he has pastored First Baptist Church for five years. He earned his theology degree from Word of Life Biblical Seminary in 2009 and a specialist degree in Practical Theology in 2019, and he completed all four modules of BCMW’s Church Leadership Training program.

Diego has practiced biblical counseling since the start of his pastoral ministry, working alongside his wife, Michele, to counsel couples, pastors, and church members grounded in the sufficiency of Scripture. Pastor Tiago Wagner first invited him into BCMW’s training, and an invitation to teach followed soon after. Diego calls his place in the organization a natural fit.

What keeps Diego committed to the work is BCMW’s fidelity to Scripture and the friendship he shares with Brazil’s other coordinators, a bond he says encourages him to finish the race faithfully. Diego and Michele have two children, Kristal and Elis.
