Dan & Mam Rutledge

Dan and Mam Rutledge coordinate BCMW’s work in Thailand. Dan moved there as a full-time missionary in 2001 and married Mam two years later. Mam grew up in a small Akha village in northern Thailand within an animistic family, and after sixth grade she moved to the city to live in a home built to protect and educate young tribal girls at risk of being sold into prostitution. It was there she first heard the gospel and committed her life to God.

Dan and Mam partnered with BCMW in the fall of 2017, and on January 18, 2018, led the ministry’s first training in Thailand. Since then, they have offered trainings across five provinces in the country, with hopes to expand into southern Thailand and neighboring Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, and Malaysia. What they treasure most is BCMW’s commitment to the sufficiency of Scripture and to equipping local pastors as counselors of Christ’s sheep.

Dan and Mam have served in full-time ministry for more than twenty-five years, twenty of them in Chiang Rai, where they have raised four children: Gracie, Joy, Hope, and Kyle.
